Beauty Graphic Designer

Pay: 30-35/hour MAX

About the Role

The Graphic Designer will directly report to the Art Director and will help to collaborate with Designers and supervise where necessary to transform high level marketing concepts into innovative packaging, displays and other supporting collateral across print and digital designs.

Responsibilities

• Work on various design projects from POP/displays and merchandising to product packaging and marketing support materials
• Design compelling on-brand graphics for store merchandising displays and promotional materials for the brand
• Digital, web, social graphic design as needed.
• Concept brand collateral including brand guidelines, brochures, mailers, magazine ads, and web banners
• Understand industry trends to produce most effective message
• Develop product packaging in conjunction with product development team, from new concepts to refreshes of existing items
• Create 2D renderings of package concepts and mock samples
• Must be a self-starter, flexible and imaginative with an elevated sense of design
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate experience with developing estimated costs and meeting financial objectives
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of social media platforms and competitive landscape

Required Skills

• Proficient in a MAC Environment with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, GIF) as well as strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in with video software, file formats
• Willingness to learn new skills and industry methods
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print, digital and social media marketing creative executions
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a self-starter, flexible and imaginative with an elevated sense of design
• Demonstrate experience with developing estimated costs and meeting financial objectives
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of social media platforms and competitive landscape
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Ability to accurately and effectively communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner

• Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy
