As a Broker Sales Representative within the greater Rochester area, you will help grow and develop broker relationships with local and national brokers while offering voluntary benefits that provide employees financial protection during life’s unexpected moments.

Successful Broker Sales Representatives focus on:

• Leveraging an existing network of employee benefit broker contacts to position Colonial Life’s voluntary benefits portfolio & enrollment support.
• Building a network of productive brokers, and employers with expectations for long-term service strategies
• Developing new relationships with local and national brokers

Beneficial Experience and/or Skills:

• Experience in the employee benefits industry
• Strong network of active broker relationships (no geographic limitations to the candidate's broker network)
• Strong product/service knowledge and solution-oriented thinking
• Commitment to continuous learning and integrity
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Effective communicator with executive presence
• Excellent presentation skills and follow-through
• High sense of urgency and goal-focused
• Life and health insurance license (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation: As a broker Sales Representative, you will have the potential to earn commissions based on sales results, including renewal income, bonuses, and world-class incentive trips.

This is an independent contractor opportunity in which you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Any income range associated with this posting represents the potential pre-tax earnings of a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary or guaranteed earnings. All earnings in this role are sales results-based and uncapped, with a tremendous potential for growth based on your business acumen.
