Job Description

Do you live and breathe data? Are you passionate about using analytics to drive smarter marketing decisions? Join our freelance team as a Digital Marketing Data Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the performance visibility, tracking accuracy, and reporting quality across all our digital channels — from Paid Media to SEO and Social Media.

About the role

This role is responsible for implementing robust analytics frameworks, setting up and maintaining conversion tracking, and developing dashboards that deliver actionable insights for internal teams and clients.

This is a cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with digital strategy, media, and technical teams to ensure data consistency and alignment across all digital campaigns.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, implement, and maintain conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, including event tracking and pixel management across various platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Analyze campaign performance across digital channels (Paid Media, SEO, Social Media) using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other third-party platforms
  • Create and manage real-time dashboards and automated reports in Google Looker Studio for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with digital strategists and execution teams to ensure KPIs are measurable, aligned with goals, and consistently tracked
  • Support the setup of measurement frameworks and analytics configurations across client portfolios
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies in tracking and reporting
  • Contribute to the design of performance monitoring templates and reporting SOPs
  • Stay current on analytics platform updates, tag management standards, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GA4, cookieless tracking)

What we are looking for

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing analytics or data analyst role
  • Proven experience working with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Looker Studio
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and digital data structures
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting conversion pixels and tag firing across platforms
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and derive insights
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English to professional level
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience supporting performance tracking and reporting for multi-channel digital campaigns

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, GTAG, server-side tagging, or custom JavaScript implementation
  • Coding knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, or Python
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking setup for paid media (UTMs, URL parameters, etc.)
  • Exposure to data visualization tools beyond Looker Studio (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
