Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a backend developer to support the development of RESTful APIs and data pipelines for retirement services. The role involves working with .NET Core, AWS cloud services, Python, and Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL), with optional exposure to Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain REST APIs using .NET Core.
• Build and orchestrate data workflows using AWS Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Amazon PostgreSQL.
• Develop Python scripts for ETL and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable backend solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with .NET Core and REST API development.
• Proficiency in AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3.
• Solid understanding of Python for scripting and data processing.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Strong SQL skills, especially with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Background in financial services or retirement domain.
