Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for a company located in Fort Lauderdale, FL . In this position you will be the first escalation point of contact for testing and programming operations. That will include: Leak Test, Final Run Test, Motor Programming, and Controller Programming.

Salary Range: $90-$97K Yearly.

Manufacturing Test Engineer job responsibilities include:

  • Communicate efficiently with end of line test associates to provide them with quick support to guarantee daily production targets
  • Support proper operation and maintenance of testing and programming equipment on all assembly and support lines
  • Assure accessories used for testing operation are available for immediate replacement if necessary: Thermocouples, control cables, power plugs.
  • Troubleshoot failures of heat pumps and test equipment to locate root cause and provide resolution
  • Report issues and findings using the FPY report. Drive improvements using basic problem-solving techniques
  • Train or assist in training operators of run off stations to ensure tests are being properly performed, help to identify and resolve improvement opportunities and gaps with training
  • Create and update work instructions to reflect current procedures in testing and validate improvement ideas with the test engineer
