Job Description

Essential Job Duties:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  1. Safety for all production employees. Ensure all employees always have and wear correct PPE.
  2. Carry out required risk assessments for all production and repair processes with zero lost time goal.
  3. Ensure all products are manufactured as per quality standards.
  4. Achieve and maintain key production goals for Safety, Cost, Delivery and Quality.
  5. Development of operational excellence culture 5S lean manufacturing and Visual Management.
  6. Management and control of budget for direct labor, tooling manufacturers to ensure optimal tools are used in production and other associated production budgets.
  7. Development and implementation of training plans for all production employees.
  8. Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in safe working order.
  9. Monitor and track machine utilization and implement plans to improve as needed.
  10. Sourcing and installation of production equipment as needed.
  11. Performs quality control testing to meet specifications from Engineer standard and quality standard.
  12. Meeting both Quality, Cost & Delivery expectations for both new parts and repaired parts.
  13. Flexible working schedules including weekends if needed
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  1. Education:
  2. Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineer/Technical or relevant related field is preferred.
  3. Relevant equivalent experiences will be considered.
  4. Experience:
  5. 5 years of proven ability in managing a production and repair facility
  6. Knowledge of production machinery both Manual and CNC
  7. Able to read, understand and interpret production drawings
  8. Hardware & Software:
  9. Microsoft Office Products
  10. SAP or ERP systems

English, in verbal and written form. Spanish a plus
