A Sommelier aka dream job. We’re currently seeking a spectacular Sommelier in SH RESTAURANT GROUP to join our leadership team. The perfect candidate loves everything wine and is fluent in it—from intricate knowledge of grapes and the regions they grow in to an instinctive sense of timing for bringing out a wine’s finest moment. You also love talking about wine, and the nuances of pairing it with food. And you live for sharing your insights with our guests, as well as introducing them to impeccably selected and hard-to-find wines they’ll remember forever. Sound like a glass you could fill? About you...
Passionate about wine and guest service and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
A sommelier certification is required and a post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
Advanced knowledgeable of wine, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
