About the Role

As the Commercial Consulting Practice Lead , you’ll spearhead a transformative practice focused on a wide array of value-generating activities to address critical client needs- including: primary market research, competitive intelligence, comprehensive chart audits, field/field-Medical strategies & optimization. You’ll build a team of elite consultants, drive strategic partnerships with top-tier biopharma clients, and leverage advanced analytics and AI to deliver actionable insights & intelligence that shape go-to-market strategies and fuel & accelerate in-market growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build a World-Class Practice : Establish and lead a high-performing team of consultants delivering innovative solutions across all relevant Commercial insights and analytics activities.
• Drive Exponential Growth : Expand PharmaACE’s business footprint by generating new business with existing and prospective clients - by leveraging your industry network and entrepreneurial drive.
• Deliver Strategic Insights : Partner with C-suite executives to uncover market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics, providing data-driven strategies that optimize product positioning and market entry.
• Lead Primary Market Research : Design and execute robust primary market research initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to deliver deep customer and stakeholder insights.
• Master Competitive Intelligence : Develop and implement cutting-edge competitive intelligence frameworks to track competitor strategies, pipeline developments, and market shifts.
• Specialize in Chart Audits : Lead the development and execution of chart audits to uncover granular market and product-specific dynamics in data-scarce environments, providing clients with critical insights for decision-making.
• Enhance Field/Field-Medical Impact : Identify, create, and deploy a suite of new capabilities aimed at creating competitive advantage across this part of the Commercial organization.
• Innovate with AI & Analytics : Harness AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to enhance research methodologies, streamline data collection, and deliver predictive insights.
• Champion Thought Leadership : Stay ahead of industry trends, publishing insights and presenting at conferences to position Company X as the go-to leader in market and customer insights.
• Ensure Flawless Execution : Oversee high-stakes projects, managing risks, timelines, and budgets to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

What You Bring

• Proven Expertise : 10+ years in top-tier consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or leadership roles in life sciences consulting, with deep expertise in market research, competitive intelligence, or analytics.
• Leadership Prowess : 5+ years leading teams in a professional services environment, with a track record of building high-impact practices.
• Business Development Acumen : Demonstrated success in forging executive-level client relationships and driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth.
• Industry Network : Strong connections in pharma, biotech, or healthcare analytics, with a pulse on market trends and customer insights.
• Chart Audit Expertise : Hands-on experience with chart audits or similar methodologies for uncovering detailed market and product dynamics in data-scarce environments.
• Advanced Credentials : PhD, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
