Ascendo is excited to present this opportunity in the wealth management industry. We are seeking a Trust Manager with a strong background in international regulations such as FATCA and CRS regimes. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule primarily remote work, balancing on-site collaboration with the convenience of remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day administration for a portfolio of trusts, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements, including those for trusts and their underlying entities.
• Act as the main point of contact for beneficiaries, providing trusted assistance and preparing reports and communications as needed.
• Oversee and implement trust distributions, including communications to beneficiaries and payment processing.
• Support and administer trust investments in accordance with relevant investment documents and procedures.
• Coordinate with outside legal advisors and other service providers as necessary.
• Manage the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-client (KYC) regulations.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in the offshore trust management and fiduciary industry.
• Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or Juris Doctor degree in a related field such as business, accounting, finance, or legal.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and tax laws.
• Familiarity with international laws and regulations, including FATCA, CRS, AML, and KYC.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with corporate structures and governance.
