Job Description

Title : Webmaster/Web Project Manager

We are looking for a Webmaster/Web Project Manager for an eight-month or longer engagement. This person will cover for an employee on and assist with managing existing content management systems, as well as selecting and potentially integrating a new CMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication and project management skills to oversee the full lifecycle of website development and daily web operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Implementation & Integration: Lead the implementation of new websites from start to finish, including planning, development, testing, launch, and post-launch support.
• Technical Skills: Full stack and/or front-end development, light HTML coding. Familiarity with ASP, .net, basic javascript is a plus.
• Development Oversight: Work with internal teams and external development vendors to manage timelines, track and report on deliverables and milestones. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quality and usability.
• Project Management: Use tools like Jira and Confluence (or similar) to track the status of web projects, testing stages, development progress, and team updates.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute UAT processes to validate that websites meet business requirements and are ready for launch. Compare performance and functionality against acceptance criteria.
• Business-Technical Liaison: Act as the bridge between business units and developers. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and ensure deliverables are user-friendly.
• Content Management & Maintenance: Perform day-to-day content updates, document editing and web publishing using a CMS (e.g., Kentico, Sitecore, Drupal, etc.). Hands-on experience with web development. Ability to integrate designs into functional web elements and wireframes is a plus.
• UI/UX Design: Apply user-centric design principles to ensure web interfaces are intuitive and accessible.
• eBlast System Usage: Manage and deploy email campaigns using an eBlast platform like Cvent, Constant Contact, Hubspot or Mailchimp. Email friendly HTML/CSS table-based layout experience.
• CMS Evaluation & Integration: Help evaluate and implement new web platforms and CMS platforms; assist in vendor interviews and platform selection.
