About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing and improving manufacturing and industrial processes. You will be responsible for developing new techniques, modifying existing designs, and coordinating process improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. This involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and quality assurance, developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring process performance metrics, conducting statistical analysis, and troubleshooting process-related issues. The ideal candidate will also lead process validation activities and provide technical support and training to production teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, identifying trends and proposing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues.
  • Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
  • Proficiency in process analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
